I'm not a politician. I don't want to be a politician, because politicians do what is politically expedient.
I want to do what's right.
politicians, no matter who they are, shouldn't be able to manipulate the public on a single issue
and then call an election at the height of support - that's a little bit of a manipulation of democracy.
History shows that there is no more potent engine for reform than the passion of voters
who feel betrayed by the politicians they hoped would do the right thing. Michael Moritz
